I am looking for the pros and cons of the ab-roller. Can anyone advise me about it.There is a buddy of mine that told me that it killed his back. Why?

I have heard things like this, and when you look into it, they were using bad technique. My suggestion is to start with it under your shoulders, and roll out lowering your hips, then back.

Later start pushing it first as far as you can control then return, It works the back and Triceps more than you can believe.

After starting it, I have lost at least 4" off my middle, and two belt notches.

If people get injured, I would guess they were not doing controlled techniques. Start slow, and build up. After all you can not start doing 50 push ups the first time. You start with one and work up.
