Recovery not too bad after c-section

I had a planned c-section, which I did not want after having a natural birth with my first child I was terrified but my second child was breech.
Anyhow it is exactly 11 weeks after my operation and the recovery has been very good. I was very fit before my pregnancy, regularly going to the gym twice a week for 4 years and body pump once or twice a week had very good muscle definition and my belly quite toned.
I started body pump when my first born was 6 months old and can honestly say it definitely changes your body shape as it pulls you in and tones up every part of your body. Unfortunately I put on 3 and a half stone with this pregnancy and carried all in front so my belly still looks like I am 6 months pregnant and I have the disgusting "overhang, stomach apron".
I have started to cut out the rubbish out my diet and eat more fruit and veg and I walk my daughter to school and back pushing my 10 lb baby in her pram! I have also started doing Kelly Coffey - Meyers weight lifting DVD which is hard but brilliant.
My belly is shrinking slowly but be careful when doing sit- ups don't do too many or hard leg lowering ones as i have had a few stinging pains in my lower abdomen so I'm going to stop doing these and do the plank instead. It does take hard work and dedication, it took me 4 years to get the body I wanted and be able to wear skinny jeans and size 10 clothes and even though I still did a few weight exercises during my second pregnancy have to start all over again but I am a lot fitter than first tine round so shouldn't take so long!
Good luck to all those lovely mummys out there and don't put pressure on yourself it took 9 months to put on and will take 9 months to disappear!
