Strong Core Muscles Helped Me Recover from Two C-Sections
I had a C-Section with both of my babies (12-03 emergency and 02-07 planned) as well as had a c-section incision for a surgery on my ovaries.
Overall I think having strong core muscles has helped me with a speedy recovery all 3 times. I do a lot of core work focusing on my abs as well as when I do regular weightlifting I try to incorporate exercises that will strengthen my core, like sitting on the ball when I do barbell curls.
After my 3rd c-section I was back to working out within 3 weeks with no pain. (I got an okay from my Dr. first.) I believe this is from the preparation I have done including all the core strengthening exercises.
