The bridge or setubandh asan.

This exercise is also called as bridge or setubandha asan and it is very useful for back problems.


Description:

Lie down on the floor straight. Bend both legs at the knees and raise the hip area by supporting them with your both hands to lift the back. While doing this keep your feet on the floor. Keep your feet on the floor and raise your hips high as much as you can. Keep your shoulder and head on the ground. Remain in this state for 6-8 seconds.

After that slowly lower your waist and legs to the floor. While keeping the support of your both hands. Then relax and repeat for 4-6 times. This exercise is beneficial for all back problems.

It is beneficial for the people having slip-disc problem. It can cure all backache affecting the lower back. It can help spondylitis. Your back is the main part of nervous system so this asan has lot of benefits.
