The Ultimate Breakfast Smoothie
1 spear Fresh Pineapple
1/4 Organic Banana
1/3 cup Frozen* Organic Blackberries
1/3 cup Frozen Organic Rasberries
1/3 cup Frozen Organic Blueberries
1/3 cup Frozen Organic mango (or frozen organic sliced peaches)
1-2 tbs Raw Agave Nectar
Depending on your taste, you can go a few ways with the next step.
Option One
fiber option2 tbs psyllium husks
¼ cup soy protein powder
1 cup filtered water
Option two
calcium option2 tbs ground flax seed
1/3 cup probioic nonfat yogurt
½ cup filtered water
Option three (power protein option)
¼ cup whey protein (preferably undenatured)
½ cup filtered water
In a quality blender**, place all the ingredients. Blend for at least one minute. Pour into 2 glasses.
Rinse blender immediately for easier clean up.
* Using frozen fruits together with fresh fruits eliminates the need for ice and reduces spoilage if you keep fruit on hand for daily smooties.
*A strong blender that can cut through frozen fruits is essential. This recipe was created with a KitchenAid.
